Since first hitting the scene way back in 2009, the Chevy Traverse, Chevrolet’s mid-size family hauler, has sold more than 1.3 million models. Now in its second generation, this vehicle is smarter than ever before. The 2021 Chevy Traverse, soon to be available at Woodhouse Chevrolet, is welcoming some new and innovative tech updates.

A Smarter SUV

One of the most exciting upgrades to the 2021 Chevrolet Traverse is its wireless phone projection feature, which is part of an exclusive available technology package.

This intelligent features allows riders to use Apple CarPlay™ or Android Auto™ smartphone integration through a wireless Bluetooth® connection. Additionally, this technology feature can be used alongside wireless/inductive charging, which allows riders to charge their smartphones without a charging cable, doing away with the hassle and headache of charging cords.

Vehicle occupants simply need to place their compatible device onto the charging station, which will either be located on top of the center console armrest or in the hidden storage compartment. While it’s charging, you can still make phone calls and listen to your favorite tunes using the Bluetooth® wireless streaming.

The First of Its Kind

This feature makes the 2021 Chevrolet Traverse one of the very first GM vehicles to offer wireless Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™. This outstanding feature will be offered on the top-tier trim levels.

Additional Upgrades

But the wireless phone projection won’t be the only upgrade the 2021 Chevrolet Traverse will offer. Other changes for next year will include new standard safety features across all trims, such as front pedestrian braking, automatic emergency braking, automatic high beams, and a following distance indicator.
